Description
Mumbai toasts are a traditional Asian light savoury biscuit attributed to the famous city of Ahmadabad. It consists of squared pieces of dried loaf. The dough is lightly spiced with fennel seeds and a little bit of sugar to give it its unique flavour.
The soft baked dough pieces are slow dried in the oven to produce dried dough pieces which have a very light crispy and crunchy texture.
This snack is perfect to have dipped in tea and can be enjoyed as a light meal or as a snack. Serving suggestion: Why not spread butter on these crispy toasts to make a luxurious and filling snack.
